Join Grief Encounter on their first trekking challenge in the captivating Ourika Valley of Morocco. Expect the perfect introductory trek in the foothills of the captivating Atlas Mountains.
This trek explores the lesser-visited Zat Valley and the vast Yagour Plateau, where ancient mule paths connect remote communities and shepherds still follow seasonal grazing traditions. Along the route, trekkers will pass fertile river valleys, walnut groves and high mountain pastures, with sweeping views of the Atlas peaks throughout.
We finish our epic challenge in Marrakech where we have an evening of celebrations and understand what a difference the fundraising from this challenge makes for Grief Encounter.
