How to keep your New Year’s resolution

I long ago lost track of the resolutions I have made and then broken within the first couple of weeks of January. Despite the best intentions it’s all too easy to get back in to your usual routines and forget all about that resolution you made drunkenly at 11.58pm on 31st December.

For many of us the New Year is seen as the perfect opportunity to kick start our fitness routines and if you’re anything like me it’s not enough just to say I WILL do more exercise this year. I need to know that if I don’t get out there and get training there will be consequences.

This year I am running the London Marathon in April and no training will be mean 26.2 miles of pain. So, why not set yourself a goal, something that is happening later on in the year and that you will need to train for. Something like a charity challenge?! Why not check out our website for some ideas.
