Velindre, Sierra Nevada Trek, Spain

18th - 22nd June 2026

Join Velindre on an incredible 3-day Sierra Nevada Trek. This is a fantastic weekend full of adventure in a hidden region of Spain discovering sheltered valleys, lush green gorges, winding watercourses and high- mountain villages. The trek culminates with a tough peak to bag, Mount Mulhacen at 3,428m, it is the highest mountain on the Iberian Peninsula and the third highest peak in continental Europe!

Outline Itinerary:
18 June: Depart London 
19 June: Capileira to Capileira (circuit route)
20 June: Capileira (1,450m) to Refuge Poqueira (2,500m), 5-6hrs
21 June: Refuge (2,500m) to Mulhacén (3,482m) to Granada (1,500m), 7-9hrs
22 June: Malaga to London

**Please note that people need to carry spare clothes, toiletries, etc. for the overnight stay at the refuge in their day packs.
