What better way to discover the mythical charms of Ireland than by bike? This four day event takes us to the granite mass of the Wicklow Mountains in Southeast Ireland, an area of rugged and remote beauty, swathed in heath and bog, with fast flowing streams and deep, deep lakes. Our ride begins in the picturesque village of Enniskerry, known as the garden county of Ireland, and famous also for playing host to the popular BBC programme Ballykissangel, before heading off to the medieval city of Kilkenny. It’s a tough ride, with some steep climbs, but well worth the effort just for the views!
The ride finishes in County Tipperary, in the historic town of Cashel. Here we can visit the remarkable Celtic and medieval architecture that completes the Rock of Cashel, one of Ireland’s most popular attractions. We return to Dublin for the evening’s celebrations, partying in Irish style – back in vibrant Temple Bar!
