India is a land that truly suspends belief and defies description. Stretching from the frozen barrier of the Himalaya to the tropical greenery of Kerala, and from the sacred Ganges to the sands of the Thar Desert, India’s boundaries encompass incomparable variety. This exhilarating 400km journey starts in Bundi, a captivating little town that has more or less retained a medieval atmosphere.
Our journey takes us along the Aravali mountain range (the oldest mountain range in the world), dotted with colourful tribal villages, cultivated fields, fascinating temples, dense forest, sandy deserts, and views of dramatic ruined forts, whilst spending memorable nights under the stars in the grounds of splendid palaces. Our journey ends at the Taj Mahal, built by the Greatest Mughal Emperor – Shahjehan, and is known as a love story in marble.
