Halton Haven Hospice, Arctic Challenge 2025

23rd - 30th March 2025

Huskies, sledging, snow shoeing….experience it all!

Halton Haven Hospice provides specialist care, completely free of charge, to people of Halton and surrounding areas who are living with end of life or life-limiting conditions.

Each year it costs £2.5 million to run Halton Haven which means £6,850 is needed every day to keep the hospice open. It is only thanks to the support of local people that they are able to raise this money and continue offering services to the local community.

Imagine eight days in the middle of Sweden, set in a stunning and pristine wilderness environment, miles from anywhere. This once in a lifetime challenge combines your ability to adapt to and live in the heart of this environment, as well as experience tranquillity, and relaxation under the stars of the Arctic. You will participate in husky driving, ice fishing, trapping, hunting, shelter and snow hole building, skiing – to name but a few.

This is most definitely a trip of a life time!
