Stars fill the cold night sky as our challenge begins.
Following our Bedouin guides and camel trail, we trek up the beautiful granite slopes of Mount Sinai (2285m), reaching the summit as dawn breaks across the rocky desert. On our descent we visit Saint Catherine’s Monastery – a defining feature of the Holy Land and a site sacred to Christianity and Islam.
Over the next two days we enjoy a rare desert experience, as we trek through this remarkable land, soaking up the intense silence of the mountains around us, witnessing spectacular sunsets, and spending our nights camping, Bedouin style. Our incredible weekend concludes with an unforgettable visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the great Pyramids of Giza – and Sphinx.
