Welcome to Mind over Mountains, a grassroots effort by Firm colleagues, for colleagues, with a three-fold purpose: to give back, to overcome challenges, and to build community.
Following successes up Mount Kilimanjaro (2023) and through Patagonia (2025), where nearly 100 amazing colleagues raised ~$150K for charity in total, we are thrilled to partner with Ultimate Travel Company, a leader in the charity trek space with 20+ years of experience, in a third edition of Firm charity treks.
Our next adventure aims to raise >$100K for mental health charities and will take 100 colleagues along a 100km route Accursed Mountains of the Balkans, a breathtaking landscape where three countries converge among soaring peaks and timeless ridges – all in honor on the Firm’s 100th birthday.
Each day will reveal new wonders: alpine meadows, crystal lakes, wildflower valleys, and rugged summits that scrape the sky. Trails cross villages once divided by borders and history, now united by paths of resilience and connection.
This is more than a trek—it is a journey of discovery and purpose. Together, we will finish in Kosovo, celebrating not just the kilometers behind us, but also the funds raised for mental health, the friendships built, and the enduring spirit of giving back.
Please note: The listed trip cost is based on 60 trekkers. If participation goes above this number, the price trekkers will be charged will reduce on a sliding scale as benchmarked below, which includes the non-refundable registration fee of £200:
- 60 participants – £1145 per person
- 80 participants – £1035 per person
- 100 participants – £945 per person
